사람들의 힘
[ 에베소서 4:7 - 4:16 ] - 찬송가 221장
그에게서 온 몸이…각 지체의 분량대로 역사하여 그 몸을 자라게 하며 사랑 안에서 스스로 세우느니라 - 에베소서 4:16
호주의 퍼스에서 기차를 타려던 한 남자가 미끄러져서 기차 객차와 역 승강장 사이의 틈에 다리가 끼어 버렸습니다.

A man who got in a train in Perth, Austrailia slipped and 다리가 끼다 at the gap between the train and the platform.

많은 승객들이 그를 구하려고 재빨리 달려와 온 힘을 다해 기차를 떠밀어 조금 기울게 함으로써 그 남자는 빠져나올 수 있었습니다!
>> 많은 승객들이 재빨리 달려왔다, 그를 구하려고, 온 힘을 다해 기차를 밀어서 조금 기울게 함으로써, 그 남자는 빠져 나올 수 있었다.
A lot of passengers quickly came to rescue him by 기울게 the train with pushing it, and he could get out.

기차 회사의 대변인 데이비드 하인스는 인터뷰에서 “모든 사람들이 달려들었습니다. 사람들의 힘이 큰 사고를 당할 뻔했던 사람을 구했습니다.”라고 말했습니다.

에베소서 4장에서 우리는 사람들의 힘은 하나님의 공동체를 세우기 위한 하나님의 계획이라는 것을 알게 됩니다.
>> In Ephesians 4, we read that people power is God's plan for building up His family.

“온 몸이 각 마디를 통하여 도움을 받음으로 연결되고 결합되어 각 지체의 분량대로 역사하여 그 몸을 자라게 하며 사랑 안에서 스스로 세우기 위하여”(16절) 하나님은 우리 각 사람에게 특별한 하나님의 은사를 주셨습니다(7절).
 He has given  each of us a special gift of His grace for specific purpose that the whole body joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in live, as each part does its work"

하나님의 공동체 안에서는 각자 해야 할 일이 있으며, 구경만 하는 사람은 아무도 없습니다.
>> Every person has a job to do in God's family; there are no spectators.

그 안에서 우리는 함께 울고 함께 웃으며, 짐도 서로 나누어집니다.
>> In God's family we weep and laugh together. We bear each other's burdens.

우리는 서로를 위해 기도하고 격려하며, 죄에서 돌이키도록 서로를 권면하며 도와줍니다.
>> We pray for and encourage one another. We challenge and help each other to turn from sin.

하나님 아버지, 오늘 당신의 공동체를 돕는 일에 우리가 해야 할 일을 보여주소서.
Show us, Father, our part in helping Your family today.
